Music games lack character nowadays. Why not show this generation where music games began with a new PS3 Parappa the Rapper game? The art style would really look great in HD, don’t you think?

Eldictator’s Got it right!
“I know… I GOTTA BELIEVE!”
=)
I think another Umm Jammer Lammy would be interesting as well… But I’d love to see a brand new (longer) story for a Parappa game, with new songs, characters, online co-op, battles, etc…
I think it would translate to Next-Gen perfectly!

Thanks guys for the support!
I just feel like music games today lack the same charm they used to have! Games like Parappa the Rapper, Gitaroo Man, and Um Jammer Lammy were AMAZING and stand the test of time thanks to their remarkable charm!

I know…
I GOTTA BELIEVE!!!!!
*quirky rap song begins…*
Hey, if anything they should release the original Parappa the Rapper, Parappa the Rapper 2, AND the spin-off Umm Jammer Lammy on one Blu-Ray disc with trophies… hmm… that gives me an idea…

A remake of Parappa the Rapper for the PSN/PS3 would be really nice!!! All in HD (LOL).
Or, if the devs don’t want to work on parappa no more, simply make, like Midgetguy said, an HD optimized BD game with Parappa the Rapper 1, 2, and Umm Jammer Lammy on the same disc. Would be real nice! (even if Umm Jammer is… Umm…).

haha Personally, I love all Parappa games! (Parappa the Rapper, Parappa the Rapper 2, and yes… even Umm Jammer Lammy!)
I honestly think Parappa the Rapper 2 was my favorite though! =)

I agree they should put Parappa the Rapper on the PS3 even if it’s the original which was better in my opinion

After playing the Beta of Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale and seeing’s PaRappa’s Level 3
I Now long to see this game remade into HD
not just port the classic with trophies..I mean a Full Blown Graphic Remake.
And i also agree add um jammer lammy as well
It’ll be great to hear songs like
“I gotta Believe” and
“No Cutting Corners” again.
Sony make it happen =)
