They are wrecking SOCOM 4, so they might as well give us SOCOM 2 again. Hell, I just want the multiplayer side of the game…they don’t even have to put in the campaign or re-pay the voice actors from back then. Just make the game let the damn Zipper staff do the voice work.

Make this happen Zipper and Sony. While you were busy looking for an online shooter to make the ps3 popular all you had to do was make an upgraded SOCOM 1, II and III. That’s it. Killzone is great, MAG is great but all we ever wanted was SOCOM HD..

Socom 2 will forever be the best shooter. This was the game that i first played online and i was completely addicted. Coming home from school everyday to play socom with all my friends. ahhh the good old days.

ZIPPER GOT ME ADDICTED to socom 2 in 2004, i mean like full blown attict. socom 3 was pretty solid and managed to fix my cravings also.

After bout a year and a half of playing confrontation, i could no longer play 4 long periods of time. i no longer craved to play game after game after game.

I want that addiction back and slant six FUHKED IT UP FUHK YOU SLANT SIX.

Im sold on s2 remake

yeah socom 2hd would make a lot of money better then call of duty but zipper interatived should make socom 2hd because they make the first socom’s,if slant six do this socom they would ruined like socom ftb3 and socom confrontation.

Once SOCOM 4 releases, it will have a lot of players for a couple of months. But once it dies out, I hope Zipper or whoever realizes that the classic Socom’s are the best!

The only reason Socom I/II/III died out was due to the fact that it was on the Playstation 2, therefore allowing users to hack. If SOCOM II was to be re-released for the Playstation 3 only, the game would not die out for MANY years.

actually the best socom for me was the first one, of course you could do better on graphics now a days, but over all first socom for me wins, the problem with socom starts when the start to add sooo much crap to the game that it becomes stupid, exploding cars, barrels, rats, everything explodes on this game its stupid, if you are realoading and you jump it interrupts it??? omg!!!!, but its true, bring old socoms back, no more super features, we just want to kill eachother with good weapons online!!.

dude i would go out today and buy a PS3 fr a remake of socom 2. Granted it would take my life away. Tengo 26 anos,e jugado socom toda mi vida,socom fue la unica razon que yo compre el playstation 2,y por igual el playstation 3, cuando juego socom,lo juego asta por 19 horas corridas, me gustaria probar y descubrir defectos en los futuros socom y darles ideas de como mejorarlos.

Greatest shooter ever made, SOCOM 2 was the pre-next gen shooter you had to have. Everyone is hyped up on Call of Duty now, but SOCOM 2 helped make it what it is (along with like.. 4 other war games).

zipper be smart here, it’s a win/win for you. your satisfying customers, while continuing to make money. id pay 200 dollars for socom2 hd without question and i know most people would be willing to pay 100. thats how bad we want this game. we’ve been loyal to you, now be loyal to us, everone, the fans. give us what when have been wanting since socom 3, socom 2 hd.

every time i play call of duty or battlefield i get depressed all these kids now a days just need constant action no skill no strategy no camping socom lost what made it special if they remade one all i want is 1.)no glitching 2.)enhanced graphics but not overly done 3.)no sprint and i want the camera and movement physics to be as they were in socom 2 4.)i want the crosshairs put back to s2 and finally ABANDONED DAYTIME if this gets done i will glady buy a ps3 im on the fence right now about s4 ive just be let down over and over again been playin since s1

I would buy it just to have. I think SOCOM 4 will be a a pretty good addition to the franchise from the info that has been given. SOCOM 2 ultimately had a great map pack and gameplay for the era it came out in. Also Sujo was a Breach map not Demo.

please just bring back socom the way it should be and used to be. confrontation sucked and from the looks of it socom 4 does to. it has gone so far away from the true socom. or aleast allow people to dl CA from the ps store. all the socom vets want their game back. we dont want to move on because we were content and loved the game play. I been wanting this since confrontation launched and just now heard about this site and the votes, think about how many others have not heard…just bring back the best game ive ever owned..
