I agree with this. Loved Syphon Filter 2. Maybe give SCE Bend the tools to do a PS3 title since they’ve been doing the PSP ones?

anywayz, i wouldn’t mind another syphon filter for ps3. but anywayz. try asking the developers? cuz all sorts of preparation is needed in order to make a game, lots of budget and support. its not really an easy task. but still its gonna happen somewhere in the near future.

Depends on who is making it. If it’s by the original team, it could be promising. But wait for SOCOM4. It’s a dangerous game (pardon the pun) rebooting classic games and franchises. Look at Wolfenstein…..yuck. lol

This was a big vote from me! I loved the syphon filter titles (well 1 and 2 anyway, not keen on the third). I would love them to be relased on the ps3. The story was great back then, and would love to see the series get the next-gen asthetic make-over

if they’re releasing socom this year, i think syphon filter will be announced at E3 but will be out early next year. remember the PCB(facial animation company) about socom4 and syphon filter5 that came out last year but sony denied it? now a few months later socom got announced

Syphon Filter The Omega Strain was one of my favorite games on the PS2!!! Multiplayer was too addictive. Please add that component to the next game.

This is the one game I’m truly hoping appears at E3 this year. Then again, I’ve said the same thing every year since Omega Strain came out.

Please add Omega Strain, Dark Mirror and Logans Shadow for PS3!! They have the first 3 PS1 games on the store, awesome on PS3, if nothing else, they seriously need to make a version for PS3, there’s obviously enough Syphon fans who would buy an Omega download, there’s no way cost should be an issue!

(or better yet, bring back backwards compatibility!)
