this is SCEA, sony computer entertainment america. they have nothing to do with turkish subtitles. u have to adress sony playstation for your region. i dont think middle east have offices, too small marked. u r probobly part of the PAL region, which is handled by sony europe. so contact SCEE. there is no point in this here. also, sony cant make publishers put subtitles in games, only the games they themselves make, which is not the majority.

I don’t mean to be rude, but I somehow doubt there are 6 million PS3 owners in Turkey. That would be double the number of PS3 owners in Japan, or nearly.

6 million in turkey?? really?
only 74 mil. people in the whole country and about 14.5 million ps3s sold in the eurozone. so about 40% of all euro sales are in one country? one country where the games are not in the national language?? there arent even 6 mil. sold in japan or uk yet.

Thats like saying if I live in the US, I automatically speak English. We have immigrants here to guys. Besides what if I want to speak Turkish. If we have Japanese subtitles why not Turkish, think about others guys.

So i live in Germany, but i am turkish and i have no problem, thanks to god, we get everything in german.

But it was nice, when Sony makes something for the turkish people in Turkey. So heavy Rain also get polish subtitles and also language, why dont turkish ?

It’d be perfect to get Turkish subtitles for many of important games (Heavy Rain etc.)

It can be done easily via DLC’s or updates.

There’s no excuses about negative voting to this idea. Please just think the other site of this issue.

Well,that is a very neutral demand.Why would people try to push it to negative?Nevermind that this is Sony US place,they also have a control over the decisions that they are doing this survey thing.I don’t think you would really understand what do non-English speaker countries face while playing games.English knowing ratio in Turkey is really low.And we pay a hell amount of money for PS3 games here.To make it clear,in Turkey when you buy four PS3 games in a row,you pay the money that is equal to buy a new PS3.And people,very normally want to fully understand the game they paid for.It is very neutral,not only for Turks but also for Italians,Norwegians,Brazilians,Iranians,Indians etc…Instead of bashing here and pushing minus button constantly,try to emphatise a bit.You are cool,because you can speak and understand English and you don’t have a friend or brother/sister always asking you “Hey,what did he say there?”…

As said before, this request has nothing to do with sony but is up to game developers. I’m belgian but I won’t ask for dutch or french subs… I use only english subs (I often play when my kid’s asleep with lower volume). I speak 5 languages now and that’s all because of movies/games, as a kid I watched everything I thought was cool even if I didn’t understand it. And be sure that a kid learns very fast. Let a turkish kid play english games from the age of 6 and he’ll be fluent in the language before reaching 10.

I read allot of “There’s no excuses about negative voting to this idea. ” which I don’t agree with. If this gets passed then every language in the world (not every, but you know what I mean) should get it’s subtitle (meaning sony will force publishers to do so) and this means allot of resources goes to translations (and believe me, translations are quite expensive…) and I don’t want my games to be less good just because the publishers have to take into account every possible player’s origin.

I’m a gamer thus I should know english! Not because I like english, would most games I want to play be Trukish then be sure I’d learn Turkish.

Subtitle translation not require a hard work, its very simple job, one person can handle this in few days, that simple!

We are the customers for sony, we pay a lot of money for games and we want play games with Turkish subtitle.

it will be a better idea if it says optional, DLC subtitles for games… which is more reasonable and usefull… with that every language can have its own subtitles…
