What if you want your clan to have a different name in a different game?

Personally, I think clan tags would be annoying if they popped up in my friends list. I prefer the way it works now.

Not possible. Either integrate clans into the psn itself, like groups on steam. Or leave it for the game itself to do like metal gear online or killzone do. You can’t have a clan tag on psn, because people are in multiple clans and some games already add a clan tag themselves, then there’d be double clan tag and there’d be no way to update all games to it.

Few clans have a exist between multiple games, and having random tags on some users would make the friends list formatting break.

If you want this, put your clan tag in your comment. Problem solved.

I think it would be a great idea for looking up people before you get into the game. THis way you who is playing and whre they are playing instead of invites or otherwise through other sources.
