Kevin Butler commercials for the PSP.

Idea 7729 | Posted in , by | March 22, 2010

I see lots of cool PS3 commercials with Kevin Butler. But none for the PSP. Give the PSP some Kevin Butler loving too. I could see the commercials being a great boost for both the PSP & PSP Go.

@derfolterknabe:
Not bcuz you dont like the PSP doesn’t mean commercials aren’t to be done for it Kevin Butler Style! We are a PS3 and PSP family, so please think about others and not yourself.

Anything to boost more sales for the SONY Products are welcomed.

He should only do PSP commercials if the GO is re-launched with a massive price cut.

Kevin Butler rocks, but even he cant smile or make the pspNo look good.

I voted Yes…only for the humor aspect he brings. But I would hate for people to be duped into buying such a poor supported handheld like the pspNo.

ye not for the go because i would feel bad for ppl plus it would hurt sony’s reputation. I say do it for the psp 3000 or the psp2

Kevin Butler should only do psp commercials when the psp is a Must Have System. Until then, No

He should represent all things Playstation. Why limit him?

Step 1: PSP GO price drop. Repriced to $199.99. Sony needs to target the under $200 price entry barrier crowd. They’d probably end up tripling their user base easily.

Step 2: Focus energies on the PSP GO. From expanding online digital content releases with UMD-LEGACY titles(where’s Metal Gear Acid? Crisis Core?) to original content. Plus: Why is there even a MGS Peace Walker PSP-3000 bundle? Why isn’t there one for the GO? This PSP-3000 bundle is the final nail in the PSP GO’s coffin. The way the product has been treated by SONY themselves, it appears the PSP GO is a “stop gap” product until the PSP2 arrives.

Step 3: Kevin Butler adds. Heck, throw in Jack Tretton to. Make some “It Only Does Everything” commercials with shenanigans and going on’s. Pump up the GO, what it can do and the great content available for the device online.

Conclusion: Success! PSP GO resurrected and wins!

Until Sony actually supports the Psp Psn the Go will never be a hit.
They need to put actual games on the Psn. Its pretty sad to see games like Uno, Fishing, Pinball games being release before great games like Final Fantasy Crisis Core, Phantasy Star Portable, etc.

Approved!

The PSP / Go needs more captivating advertising.

I used to think Nintendo DS was better for games until I bought a PSP, and then again, with the PSP vs PSP Go. I only saw how awesome the PSP Go was when I got one.

If you won’t or can’t try a PSP Go, then Sony should make better ads to change your mind on it.

In my opinion, Nintendo DS looked great even before I got it, but for the PSP, and after that, the PSP Go I could only see their value AFTER the hands-on experience.

Voted up because I’d really love them to kick that little snot Marcus out on his ass. I already have a PSP, but watching the new commercials with Marcus in them makes me want to smash my PSP just to spite the annoying little ****.

Instead of Kevin Butler they gave us Marcus! He’s like the black version of Justin Beiber!
