I have an app on My android thats similar, shows My trophies, which friends are online and their trophies.. but it would be nice to have a SCEA official app that way we could actually use it to chat.. or interact with our ps3 in some way

It would be nice but I do not think it will happen. Maybe a Sony phone with an app like that.

i voted up for this cause i am getting the new Droid X and i am a heavy ps3 nut and it would be nice to communicate with my friends on my friends list as if i was on my ps3. there is an app already out that does everything but let you message your friends at this link

if sony can do all of what this guy created AND allow us to message our friends list then that would be awesome. and if you’re feeling ambitious, allow us to do video chat from our phones. that idea seems crazy and prolly won’t happen but just thought i’d share it

This would be nice, I did find an app that lets us do some things but I hear it isn’t that great and also we can’t msg friends which is kinda the main thing I wanna do. I want to appear online and have all features on my phone, or at least most features and txt msg, preferably also group chat

An app that would let you message your friends would be a PSN app I’d pay for. I won’t pay for the others that are out now because none allow you to send messages. Practical example of using such an app, is my current situation: My wife got home first, therfore got to the TV and General Hospital first. Being able to let the bro’s know why I am not there on MW2 would be nice right now.

This would be great. Sony is getting behind with the total integration of their system(s). Why are they fragmenting being “online” with your account on PS3 vs computer vs mobile?

Euro already has this for iPods and Android but once again everyone else is left in the dark. Just like Japan has the option to change there PSN ID without losing their friends or trophies, haven’t seen that feature yet

The messaging feature is CRUCIAL here. They do have an official app by Sony now but it does not include messaging your friends. What could be so hard about doing this? Chat and messaging my PSN friends from my phone using its pull out keyboard, INVALUABLE. Please please Sony, it only makes PS3 and PSN even more attractive to customers
Besides, it only does “everything”, right? Hehe.

There is an app available, but only in Europe. You can check so on the App Store. Im assuming they’ll make it for the US as well.

There’s a good one I use PS3 Trophies by Nicolas Ortiz. He also makes an XBox one. Maybe SCEA can integrate with his.

Its kind of annoying when what you want is already out just in another area. How hard can it be to convert that for the US?

Why not jusy get a bt headset? Or better yet, they could make a phone/app that you could use as your mic using standard speakerbhone functions and ht.

Still nothing for u.s. Come on sony. our money spends the same. Y are we always shorted. Been thinking about ditching Sony for more equally supported manufacturer.
