RENT/BUY movies in CANADA

its available in the us, so why not Canada? Blockbuster went bankrupt yesterday, and i don’t have time to wait for movies in the mail

PlayStation Video Store content came to Canada on July 1st, 2010 — Canada Day!

SCEA does not have sole discretion over video distribution . DRM issues is holding up video service outside of the U.S . Tv networks and movie networks are leery about having their content distributed to regions that may or may not have sufficient copyright laws . email tv networks , movie producers and ask them to strike a deal with SCEA . if you live in a region with little to NO copy right laws you wont see video service untill that changes . in that case . call your law makers .

I posted this on day one and it was never approved. but I am all aboard on this. Its the stupid CRTC stopping it. Xbox got around it so should PS3

There should be a way around this. Even if Sony just distribute movies that they own the copyright to at first. I’d be happy to at least have some Sony Pictures movies available to watch outside of the US

yeah i think its not fair that USA gets it and canada doesn’t
