That won’t happen for reasons I can’t discuss here.

its because sony will be making a loss if they were to make egypt psn, because there are very few ps3 owners in egypt.

This is so obvious- having a psn pays for itself easily. I’m shocked that there are areas with no PSN at all.
Why not make one umbrella PSN that covers all the zones not yet covered? You’d have to use some kind of (ugg!) universal point system for money, but it’s better than nothing.
PSN is damn near “free money” for Sony. It’s atrocious that your have customers unable to give you money due to your own stupidity.

@4 I agree

They should have an international PSN page where you can buy stuff with credit card or paypal. Exchange rates would then be handled by the credit card company.

Sony should notice the large number of people on this site requesting that Sony accept their money. It’s crazy that they don’t

Another option is that you “I mean Sony” might allow at least your agent to support your own customers in Egypt by providing them with all what they need of updates by any means you see. And by the way (replying #1) there would be nothing ever that may be an obstacle for Sony to enlist Egypt.

Why did the judge that Egypt is a country poor, you have never seen Egypt.
I request the officials of Sony Corporation work study.
Because it is humiliating to take the provisions out of nowhere, and the company is well aware of Egypt!!!!

“ps3 owners here are thousands..”

Which means its not worth it.

Especially since you should be suggesting this to Sony of Egypt, not Sony of AMERICA who has absolutely no reason to do anything for people outside of AMERICA.

basoola99  |  May 27th, 2011 at 6:47 am

safifa  |  May 27th, 2011 at 7:24 am

omarguy, who are you to talk about Egypt???!!!
Sony has to put Egypt in its PSN, as they cant count us because many of us choose either Lebanon or Saudi Arabia or even European countries to get into the PSN…..thats why they feel that we are minor which is wrong
