Add the catalan translation to the XMB.
I’ve seen that Catalan is one of the languages that you can setup on BR and DVD. Therefore, why you don’t include catalan in XMB.

I’d be pretty happy if Catalan was included in the XMB as you do in Bravia TVs -I was soooo happy telling my friends my tv was in Catalan-.
In the worst case, I’d like to be able to use English language whilst keeping Spain as country.

It’s a fantastic initiative because Catalan it’s a cooficial lenguage from Catalonia together Spanish, and it is important to take care.

I think that having the option to change the language of my PS3 into my native language would be beneficial to many consumers, as has been done in thousands of applications that are part of every day of the consumed

I’d like to see the XMB in Catalan. Lots of people that consider the PS3 and the X360 similar in features would choose the PS3 if the UI was available in Catalan. I think that the first console maker that offers its console(s) in Catalan will have a slight competitive advantage among the millions of Catalan-spoking people.

It would be very nice to have my own PS3 in Catalan and play the games in my language.
Also, it would be an interesting and motivation option to buy products of Playstation in Catalan.

9.8 million people speak Catalan around Catalonia, Valencia and Balearic Islands, more speakers than Danish, and the same than Swedish language.
I’m from Valencia, and I want PS3 in Catalan language (or Valencian, as we say here in Catalan).

why not?? I think that this is an very good initiative due to “minoritary” languages has to make place between big languages like English and why not, more culture to learn.

In order to improve all that psx experience can bring to us, it will be nice to find small changes like this. There are things that suppose bad news, like the suppression of the “use other O.S.” option…
Inserting our language in PS3,·sony has a nice oportunity to show that not all are bad and sad news… and at a very low cost… so I vote yes.
