WPA-PSK (AES) for PSP

Idea 8684 | Posted in , by | April 13, 2010

Sony needs to make the PSP compatible with this and many other types of security, is safer and most of us have them, but yet the PSP isn’t compatible with any of them.

WEP is OLD!!

Sony is more concerned with keeping themselves safe, not so much keeping the customer safe. See the removal of otherOS from PS3. Clearly if Sony was concerned about the safety and security of platforms from a customers perspective this would already be there.

I believe WPA-PSK does work…

It supports wpa just fine. In fact, you probably set up your wlan incorrectly. Change the network settings to b+g+n and wpa will work.

WPA does work. It is WPA2 that doesn’t work.

AES doesn’t work, TKIP does

AES works for me, so I dunno.
