New Official Playstation 3 “Slim model” Headset

Idea 16370 | Posted in , by | May 3, 2010

The PS3 Headset should be 50% smaller and entirely redesined.
Always shaking, itching and absolutly no comfort.
It’s like having a banana in your ear.
It is Time for a new “Slim PS3 Headset” model!

I actually love the current headset. It needs to be bundled with the system.

I Actually Like The Current Headset… It Could Look Cooler… But After You Wear It Awhile, It Conforms To Your Ear… Mine Is Actually Really Comfortable Now… Could Use A Better Battery Life Though…

@Wiiingman

Or maybe your ear now conforms to the headset :)

I like the current headset, but I can see why others don’t. It would be nice to see a few different official designs.

You know, I actually can’t stand bluetooth headsets, or earbuds in general. I just wand good old fashoined headphones, the ones with the massive discs around your ears with the strap connecting the two pads. My ears just don’t fit well with earbuds or the headphones that snap on.

You can get decent, smaller bluetooth headsets for a cheaper price

I have a couple of headsets and the Ps3 headset is just uncomfortable and hurts my ear after about 15min. Other than that it works well.

Bring on a redesign….

@10

I agree. I actually stopped using my blu tooth went out and bought a comfortable logitech usb from gamestop for 32.99. Ya it has cable but works great.

@ people thumbing this idea down. You are complete jack offs that need to stop being such a prick to good ideas.

@author of thread…

Thankyou for posting a brilliant idea I fully support. If I had a thumbs up spammer I would make this idea top ten.

It used to irritate my ear too, until I adjusted it. Take the bendle ear grip off the headset, and adjust it to your ear. Then reconnect it to the headset. Also try the second ear liner (little rubber wheel) instead of the one attached. That should help.

the current model feels as though it was designed for a non-human ear. playing mag properly with the current headset is quite painful. they should redesign it and keep comfort as the main factor.
