what would be the point of these bonuses if everyone got them ?
it’s only for those who pre-order , if you don’t you’re s.o.l. so get over it .
next you’ll expect them to give you a free game because people who bought a bundle got one .

Let me explain shall I.
Pre-order bonus which people missed (ala Ruin’s Head from Darksiders, Reaper’s clothes from inFAMOUS etc) I want those put into a HOME store so that, people like me, who haven’t had the chance to get them, due to either localisation or other can have a chance.
I am not saying put them in for free, I am saying put them in there and put a price tag on it. We missed the pre-order so its fair enough we have to pay.
Now…Sony and other parties get money, we who missed the pre-order stuff gets the stuff. Its a win-win situation, there is no need to sound so stupid.

those items are usually up to individual game developers whether to make them a paid item , you should be asking at those games forums because this isn’t read by anybody outside sony or us readers . I think limited edition items are ok anyway , what’s the incentive to pre-order if you know you can get these items without even buying the games ?

That’s like saying why get a game when there will just be a cheaper and more contented version in 6 months to a year.
It’s the mentality of gamers, if they have it first then they can say look at me look at me, and rub it in people’s faces. The developers will say the same; people who bought the game on release got to experience the experience before them and if it wasn’t for you those people wouldn’t have this edition.
What I am saying about my idea is that say 6 months after the game has been released, put up that pre-order stuff on HOME but as you say what’s the incentive to pre-order? I don’t know maybe it’s because they’re interested in the game? I understand your point, but I don’t think it is such a big issue as you are making it out to be.

I kinda feel ALL pre-order stuff should be made available for purchase after 6-12 months.

I’m saying no chance.
I pre ordered Killzone and got the Helghast suit which is fairly rare…why the hell should I lose the exclusivity just because someone did not pre order.
It’s like the gold gun in Uncharted 2 they are meant to be seen as rare and exclusive a reward to early adopters
Exclusive content needs to stay just that exclusive. In the case of the Killzone suit I liked that they then added other suits to buy but kept the original exclusive.

@6 I have that point of view as well but I don’t what so wrong with SONY making an extra profit on previous content, that are now unavailable.
You got it with the game/when it came out and to be honest I see that more of a privlage and timed exclusive (horrible I know but most pre-ordered content comes to a game later except 2 games of the top of my head). You got it first and can show it off with pride in HOME but after about 6 months your purcahse of exclsuisity should wear off and I would like to see it in the store (you got the content free with the game since they didn’t add money on, so you can see it as a perk =P)
Sorry, I don’t mean to sound harsh its just if people will buy it why not let Sony get some profit. =/
