If you have multiple themes perhaps you’d like buttons from 1 to work with wallpaper from another all theme wallpaper should be usable separate from buttons.

you can already do that by using a theme creator on your pc . how do you think all the free user created themes get made for download online ?

@FJ
True, but if you find a particular wallpaper, or even a background for a dynamic theme, there is no way to match that with elements of a different theme. I’ve found plenty of themes I like but I don’t use them because they have horrible icons and irritating noises. It would be nice to mix and match.

dynamic themes are software same as a game so couldn’t be manipulated this way , but for others it’s pretty easy to use a pc , download a number of themes and change them any way you want .
add sound , remove it , change one or all icons or add or change any backgrounds .
they even give you the free theme creation software at ps3 theme websites like allps3Themes etc.

Add the theme with the buttons you like, then change the wallpaper to the one you like.
