The PS3 really needs more RPG’s. I enjoy the Tales games and if Namco/Bandai won’t do it, hopefully they will let Sony release them here in the US.

I vote yes….love their Tales series and I would like to see more brought into the states and other countries. If they don’t want english dub just leave it out and keep Japanese voices and just english, spanish, french, etc. texts in so simple.

Don’t half-ass the localization either. Keep things at the level they were in Vesperia and Abyss.

Maybe introduce some new marketing strategies.

I bought PS3 system to play JRPGs as the last generation played jrpgs thanks to PS2. Thinking you can’t play JRPGs as “Tales of Vesperia” because Namco don’t bring it is so sad.

Sony, if you care american and european owners, so bring us Tales of Vesperia.

I’ve already played TOV to death on the 360 and I have to say it is absolutely brilliant, one of my favourites this gen.

I would happily buy the game again on the PS3 with the extras. So get on it and publish it!!!

Also while we are here, with the news of Tales Of Graces being ported to the PS3 in Japan, PLEASE localise and relese this game as well.

I think localizing the PS3 games is a fantastic idea. This series is one that has very passionate fans who would do anything to see them brought to their country. If the Tales series didn’t have a passionate fanbase the we wouldn’t have people give up their own free time to make English patches of the Japanese DS games. One of which I even saw comment on this board.

The American and European Tales fans have been given the short end of the stick for a while. Hopefully Sony can see that this IS a good idea. I’m a hop skip and a jump away from importing Vesperia because it looks like twice the game that the 360 version was.

This should be an HUGE “yes”. The “Tales of” series is one of the most awesome RPG-series. And to complete our happiness, it would be awesome an “PS2 HD Collection” with both Tales of Legendia and Tales of the Abyss.

@DarkSlayerMike: That and localizing the Japan-only Tales of PSP ports like Tales of Destiny 2 (not Eternia, although ToE would be nice to see in US PSN too) and Tales of Rebirth. If they decided to localize all those… it would become my biggest PSN purchase.

Please i would like to play tales of graces in english i have imported graces it for the wii but the thing about tales games isn’t just the battle system its the lovable characters and morals that are forever instilled in me and that can only be done by learning Japanese or by your gracious attempts of negotiations to bring the ps3 version to us

Not releasing those games in America is something actually pretty dumb , since the PS3 isn’t a *hackable* console, there will be no loss for piracy, I see no dark side of the coin here really. So PLEASE! I’m pretty sure the tales series have a lot of fans that will buy them day 01, I’m pretty sure of that.

I’m completely shocked at how fast this topic took off. I’m glad to see i’m not the only fan of rpgs left. I was beginning to wonder with the lack of rpgs this gen on consoles where all the rpg fans went. Rpgs are what got me liking playstation something n64 did’nt really have and i’ve stayed with playstation since and the ps2 did’nt disappoint but so far ps3 has been disappointing. Bringing the Tales games over here could be a good start to bringing back the rpgs.
