Sony should publish PS3 Tales Of games in the US
Idea 28417 | Posted in Software by KazeEternal | July 30, 2010
I’d like to see Vesperia and Graces in the US on PS3 and to see Sony publish them. This has been done in the past, they just need to talk to namco.

Please Sony! Make it happen!
We need more JRPG, and Tales series is a great addition to PS3…

I think the huge fan support here is obvious. Do you see that Sony? That’s foldin’ money 😀

They shouldn’t even waste money getting english voice actors they should just sub it in english. I’m almost 100% sure most of the people here don’t care that much if we have to read as long as we get to enjoy the game.

Ganryu_GDM | August 2nd, 2010 at 2:06 pm
Yeah, just put a english subtitle on that! It´ll be amazing!

My god yes, please release this in the US and Europe. ;_;
I’ve been waiting for it for years, and it still hasn’t been released.
Please… Release these games, Sony, I beg you.

I lost all hope with Namco the moment they sold off Monolith Soft, wished they at least finish the 4th and 5th episode of Xenosaga.

The PS3 is in desperate need of some great RPGs, and the Tales games are just that.

glod14k | August 2nd, 2010 at 2:31 pm
Agreed.

Strawhat_Orta | August 2nd, 2010 at 3:18 pm
It would be awesome if this would happen, since the PS3 doesn’t have many RPGs. To all video game developers out there: Not everyone plays FPS only!!

Sony really should take a key lesson from their competetors (Mic!@#&%*) and think about bringing some of these series over here! It was from my searches that outside of FF13, Tales of Vesperia alone was their third largest release (had to factor Fable in there too). Perhaps if they were willing to release more of these to the US, both sides could benefit greatly from this! I, for one, would’ve bought a PS3 already if they had a release on this system first.

If Namco’s not doing it, let’s beg Sony!

Please do it!!

Candyhats | August 2nd, 2010 at 4:19 pm
I support this petition. I have played all of the other Tales of games in the series that have been localized, and would love to see these two. I would play through Tales of Vesperia again on the PS3 version this time. This is my second favorite JRPG series, with the Shin Megami Tensei series on top, and it would be a crime against western gamers to not localize them.

I have a friend that bought a PSP just for Persona 3 Portable. Now Sony give her a reason to buy a PS3.

shenl742 | August 2nd, 2010 at 4:20 pm
Yes! I want to see more Tales games in the US!

Laurathalansa | August 2nd, 2010 at 4:31 pm
It’s been a long time since namco bandai didn’t localize one of their GOOD tales of game in USA. So this is why I would really appreciate if Sony can bring Tales of Grace f and also the unnamed tales of in america

Sardoochie | August 2nd, 2010 at 4:48 pm
I would love for the Tales of Series to come over in anyway possible!

Hope_Winterburne | August 2nd, 2010 at 4:49 pm
I desperately want the PS3 version of Tales of Vesperia (With all the PS3-only extras). It was a HUGE slap in the face when only the Xbots got this game, when the clearly superior (ps3)version was kept in Japan. THIS is how RPGs are supposed to play, Japan, not like that Final Fantasy fiasco- lots of likeable characters, freedom to explore, and little story moments you can discover wherever you look.

Majinbara | August 2nd, 2010 at 4:55 pm
ill love to see this happen. everyones been telling me this is a great game. i wanna have the chance to play
24
Laharl95 | August 2nd, 2010 at 4:58 pm
Someone said to me tat not localizing this game is almost a Sin. Well I believe that to be very true. From all RPG’s, tales deserves Localizations the most.
25
Amidori | August 2nd, 2010 at 4:59 pm
YES PLEASE. I keep wanting someone to do the PS3 port of Vesperia since it looks so different from the 360 version (and so much better)!
Please please please please?
I live in Canada though, so I hope we all mean North America, not just the US. >>;;

TatazBR | August 2nd, 2010 at 5:04 pm
Did someone actually vote “no”? .-.
Come on, Namco won’t suffer from piracy on the PS3 (we all know why).
27
TorchingDudeD | August 2nd, 2010 at 5:24 pm
I can’t fathom why they thought making Vesperia for the 360 was a good idea to begin with; in my experience the Playstation is where the JRPG-playing demographic is to be found.
28
phantomzxro | August 2nd, 2010 at 5:24 pm
yeah bring it to the states!
29
puruun | August 2nd, 2010 at 5:26 pm

S31sh1r0 | August 2nd, 2010 at 5:27 pm
Please, do it!
31
GekkoState6 | August 2nd, 2010 at 5:30 pm
Man I love this game I’ve played it to death on the 360 and I want see all the new content they have added to the ps3 version, so not only the game but the DC as well! And why are people voting no? If you don’t want to play it they just don’t buy it when it comes out! J-rpgs made the psx and ps2!

arsenalfox | August 2nd, 2010 at 5:36 pm
There has to be a time when a company has to step forward and forget about regional releases. They need to step up and realize what could be a good opportunity for the company, the game, and the consumer. This is a global market industry, lets start acting like one.
33
MrealZ | August 2nd, 2010 at 5:45 pm
Surely Agree With That Idea ^^
34
phinnv8 | August 2nd, 2010 at 5:58 pm
Yea if Tales of Vesperia came out here I’d buy it.
35
kesseki97 | August 2nd, 2010 at 6:24 pm
A million times yes. PS3’s rpg lineup is improving but it could always be better.
36
dylandurden | August 2nd, 2010 at 6:24 pm
Please, bring at least Vesperia and Graces F…
37
sir-poopzALOT | August 2nd, 2010 at 6:38 pm
I’d love to play any one of these games as i am new to the series
38
CynofDeath | August 2nd, 2010 at 6:39 pm

39
Stingle54 | August 2nd, 2010 at 6:40 pm
Yes
I want Tales of Vesperia and Tales of Graces PS3!
40
Xendyl | August 2nd, 2010 at 6:46 pm
I’ve already imported Vesperia PS3 since I’ve given up faith in Namco, but seriously, less than half of a great series was never released in America and even more in Europe.
41
Arx_Zero | August 2nd, 2010 at 7:10 pm
I agree, I’m a big RPG fan, and i would love to see the perfect versions, of Vesperia, Graces, and the ps3 exclusive Tales game all released stateside. Namco does a great job on the series and it really hurts being unable to play these great rpgs
42
Noroduil | August 2nd, 2010 at 7:20 pm
Eu and US must have those RPG, it’s a shame that the best RPGs of the current console generation will never come to us.
Please Sony do something!!
43
mochi11 | August 2nd, 2010 at 7:22 pm
I would really like to see these titles localized. judging by the response here and other places I think the Tales games would be more well received by the PS3 audience.
44
WildTengu | August 2nd, 2010 at 7:23 pm
We have enough crappy J-RPGs on the PS3, thanks.
45
RaMestre | August 2nd, 2010 at 7:30 pm
Dear Sony, please publish Vesperia and Graces on PS3. Please. Please. Pretty please. Pretty please with a cherry on the top. ~^.^~
I mean… Please. T_T
46
kiba12546 | August 2nd, 2010 at 8:11 pm
make it Tales of Vesparia and Graces
47
iStricer | August 2nd, 2010 at 8:19 pm
I support this.
I don’t mind waiting even if they decide to start localizing it tomorrow. I have a Wii, 360 and PS3 and I refuse to buy the inferior versions of these games. This move of releasing a better version in one region feels like an insult to fans.
48
SolGunRock | August 2nd, 2010 at 8:30 pm
It’d be nice if Grace and Vesperia came out to the US! Hear our pleas!
49
SuprSaiynMusashi | August 2nd, 2010 at 8:36 pm
Hell yea we should have Tales of games in America. Vesperia’s already translated, and I’d get Graces and the new one just as quickly.

At least release one with English subtitle (with JP voice) if Namco wants to save cost.
