Make an original 8 bit compilation game with play/create/share capabalities so we can make our own side scrollers, platformers, rpgs, etc.

8 Bit?? 8 Bit?!!!!! you do realise that the sega master system that released over 15 years ago was 16 bit? what the hell do you think a 8 bit game is going to look like?, screw that. I wouldn’t get it if they payed me to take it.

BTW: Gamersince1976 is right: LBP2 goes in that direction. Just a bit “fancier”

Like number 1 said, it’s called Littlebigplanet 2. You can actually make pixel-art games within it, and don’t have to always play as Sackpeople.

You should check out the platformers they have on the vast amount of LBP2 Beta videos.
