This is the kind of thing that should have been available from the start.

Yeah! Some animated GIF with “in game” images, too.

Some of this stuff is within the game description, but it isn’t laid out clearly when it is there. These things should be first, in a list format, before the game description.
I also think everything in “required” should be in yellow, and all things in “notice” should be in red.

Even though i have a 640GB hdd in my slim i’d still like to know how much space my digital games and dlc will eat up it tells us on the packeged media why not the digital?
Most people have less than 250GB of hdd space and should be able to manage it better with memory requirements shown.

And this info needs to be organized in a LIST form.
Not hidden within a paragraph that people can miss.

And for gods sakes, some damned videos. Use the ones submitted to the ESRB if you’re lazy.

Yes and preferably we should be able to search these fields. So you could find all games that have local multi-player or all games that have PS Eye support.
Also, download size is really important. It absolutely needs to be visible before you buy.

One of the best ideas I’ve seen lately. This one is actually practical and USEFUL. Congrats. +1 from me. Who’s the one person who voted down?

Someone actually voted this down?
This is one of the most logical and simplest ideas on blog.share
They should also include display resolutions too, for those that it matters too.

I totally agree! Idk how many times I’ve had to go on the internet and search for a PSN game to see if it had trophies.

If possible, I’d +2 this.

Here is an example of how the list could look, with all I can think of. Of course this wouldn’t all be in one game, but rather to show what should be listed.
ESRB Rating: T (Mild Violence, Strong Language)
# of Players Offline/Online: 1-2/32
Supported: HD 720p, 1080p; Dolby Digital; SIXAXIS Controls; Headset; Dualshock Vibration; Leaderboard
Compatible: Navigation Controller; PS Eye; Guitar Controller
Required: 500MB Hard Drive space; PS Move; PS Eye; Online Broadband; BUZZ! Controllers
Notice: Online Only; No Trophy Support

Honestly, this is a NEED to have on the PSStore. It makes it much more user friendly to have all that information.
Not to mention all of their games should either have videos of the content, or pictures. Or atleast link you to Playstation’s Youtube channel to show you a video.
These things should be there. Fact.

Look i know this had been said a bunch of times on this page…but this is a simple idea to implement.
Come on Sony. Just require developers to include these things at the bottom (or top) of their descriptions? I think the file size is a must also for those of us with older PS3s.

Most important feature currently missing is the size of the file you’re about to download. COME ON SONY….it can’t be that hard…

edojpinto | September 7th, 2010 at 7:52 am
Yeah! PSP and PS3 can display animated GIFs them… why not?

The “Supported” section of the list should also include custom music, video chat, XMB screenshot and video recording. Features like these sometimes get included in a patch.
Maybe the top of the description could include a “Summary” button for the game description and a “Details” button for the listed info?

Yes, yes, and MORE yes.
I am tired of having to search the net for info on a game before I buy it. Geez, it’s not hard to actually say that stuff on the description.
+1, would +1 again.

I also think they should list Voice Chat, Custom Soundtracks, and Cross Game Invites along with the information already listed +!
