This is highly unnecessary, and incredibly stupid. Wouldn’t making a screen saver interactive defeat the purpose of why the screen saver exists in the first place? It’s there to prevent burn-in on your TV in case you have to drop everything you’re doing and leave it idle. What’s the point of making an interactive screen saver if you absolutely have to wait for it to pop up in order to play with it in the first place? If you want more Move interactive stuff so badly, why not ask for actual games?
Did you even think about this before posting? Did the mods even think about this before approving it? The share.blog is just becoming increasingly worthless.

I don’t think that an interactive screen saver is really a screen saver at all… wouldn’t it just be a crappy game?

really so if you have a screen saver that comes on that you can interact with by using the Move controller then when you want it “off” you hit a button. We are still calling that a game?
So for instance you draw light trails that maybe make sounds when they float across but nothing more than that….and if you dont have the Move then they just float by themselves, thats super lame huh?

You should look into Beat Sketchers, I think that’s basically the same as your idea in your comment, but far more fleshed out and without being shoe-horned into the PS3′s firmware as a “screensaver.”

an interactive screen saver is not a game. i haven’t seen one idea that had more positive points than negitive. thats a great idea. i have the lord of the rings dynamic wallpaper and i really wished that the eye of sauron would follow me with the move. you set it down and then it will stare at the wand and then go back to searching.

varelapaul – sounds like you know exactly what I mean! It doesnt have to be a game just something that interacts….eye of sauron is perfect!

Better than the screensaver would be a new set of music visualizers that play when you listen to music on the PS3.
Having those visualizers be interactive with the Move would be incredibly fun!
