i see alot of people online playing drags and pink slips also drift and Rally without those options on the game, PSN need to push Polyphony on that.

They have Drift and Rally in the game….
But I disagree with having Drag Racing. It doesn’t go along with the types of “World” racing that GT5 is aimed at. Besides other than maxing out your BHP, downforce and gear ratio adjustments it wouldn’t take much skill.
Keep Drag to the NFS games…

@1, they don’t have rally in the game except under the challenges which were boring anyway, also i found the off road side of GT5 (ice, dirt) to be highly unrealistic, I’m happy they finally managed to fix the on road physics engine to simulator quality but they did little for the off road side.
I’d agree that drag racing would be boring though, especially since GT5 has very limited tuning options.

to comment on ‘DonCalzone21′: Drag racing IS a type of racing. Saying its not, is like saying drifting or rallying isnt “world” racing. It would take alot more than just just adjusting gear ratios and downforce. what about the cars Limited slip, tires, weight. Not to mention keeping a consistant time. They introduced NASCAR, why not introduce NHRA Drag Competition?

@Jack_Jeckel: Agreed. Drag racing is a lot more than building horsepower. Reaction time when the light turns green, keeping a hi hp car straight, smooth acceleration so that you don’t spin out, etc. Anyone that disagrees obviously doesn’t even watch let alone participate in drag racing.

I would really like to see a real drag track on the game too.We had one on gt4,whats up with gt5,it may be a little simpler form of racing but it would be awesome for online .

i personally drag on gt5 day on amd day out.hundreds of people do it everyday.also it does take skill to tune the cars. i would like to see the people that dnt like drag racing to try it and tell me it is easy to be fast. it takes time and effort to become one of the best
