I would support this title! I’ve beenasking for a Socom 1 or 2 HD since the PS3 was released. Please don’t change any of the core of Socom, just port over the game with fixes to previously reported issues and have enough time between the beta and the released date to fix major issues. This could be a success and a rebirth to the Socom series

i’d very much like both socom 1 and 2 to come back in HD versions for both online and offline. out of all the online games i have played i know that i have more time vested in those two games than any others and maybe even all others combined. s3 and CA and confron and s4 dont really compare at all to these two classics

Seriously, what is going on with the Socom series? You had It was right with the first two games and drastically went down hill with 3 and 4. I remember there were days where I couldn’t even get on the server because there were so many people playing. When I did get on I would play with my buddies for hours. Your series is dying out because you’re not being the way you use to be. Granted Socom 4 is not like Socom 1 or Socom 2 but you can at least make it like it. Enhance the graphics, bring back the old maps, online layout, clans and everything you did about Socom 2. Ask any of the probably 100 or 200 people that actually play Socom 4, they miss the way Socom use to be (more so 2 than 1). Listen to your customers they want to play what they want, not what you want them to play that’s business 101. If you’re wondering why you’re losing customers to MW3 and BF3 that’s why, you’re not being original. I bet if you brought back Socom or Socom 2 and left everything the same except enhanced the graphics and called it Socom 5… you’d be in business again.

I am here,cause I remember how socom used to be and after constipation I gave up this series,cause after the socom 2 hd failed to reach the goal im pretty sure this wont be produced either and those are the best socom’s to date,but zipper and sony dont care about the community,but for crap n giggles i’ll vote again for this..it will go unnoticed and as you look above its obvious no one else wants it,sorry zipper n sony you failed your fans here have a free vote on me!!R.I.P socom was nice knowing you!!

But the online for the recent games (SOCOM 4, MAG) are still supported, hopefully they still do the HD remake of SOCOM 1 with online and that this doesnt stop them from doing that. I mean Sony is already having HD remakes of other games/series, such as Splinter Cell Trilogy. Sadly, the trilogy doesnt have online play. I seriously do hope Sony makes an HD remake WITH ONLINE PLAY!!!!!!

Why can’t we have our game. What is it the deal with developers wanting to mimic other game’s features when the game you initially created was unique in the best ways. Socom II and Socom I had its flaws but nothing that would be able to be fixed with the technology we have now. The main issues on those games were frame-rates and people with to much times on there hands finding glitches on maps. I want my game back there was a reason why people called it “SoCrack”.

Please Sony release the socom 1 & 2 HD collection even tho zipper is gone you can get someone from Gurrela Games that make killzone to help the new developer that will be making socom so then socom can finally be a better franchise. The reason why I said Gurrela Games is because the developer Gurrela Games has plenty of time to develop killzone 4 for ps4 so a little part of the developer can help release the socom 1,2 HD collection with trophies.
I hope that makes things better.

Myself and a couple buddies are playing Socom 1 this weekend. I’m buying a freaking used $50 PS2 just to play this game again. Sony, this money is going to gamestop instead of you because you won’t remake this game. Please remake for DLC!!

I truly had hoped they would make this in HD,but honestly after the closing of zipper and not trusting another company to get this title back out for us..leaves me to believe this just wont ever happen :\ so guess i’ll just have to play the games as they are and hope they can revive themselves till the code users figure its time to invade again and ruin the fun again for us all,and dayum you sony for making our favorite game a thing of the past..no wonder why alot of folks here dont like you all much..I see why SMFH!!RIP wet dream!

Sony, i currently have a Xbox 360. I will literally pay 60+ dollars for a Socom 1,2, or even 3 remake and sell all of my xbox stuff. many peoples’ clans would come back, people who lost faith and abandoned you would even come back because the old socoms were THAT good. This game would stand out to many others and set a new standard for gaming.

Also, think of how much money can be made on skins for characters, different ghillie suits, maps, etc. This is a cash cow. 3.44 million copies sold and now-a-days, the human race communicates more then ever with technology so word would get out FAST about this game. Please announce this at E3 in June….the reception would be tremendous!
