This idea has already been submitted, but I’m voting up again. Quite annoying, considering Move’s irrelevance anyway. By the way, they should patch all games to remove the warning screen when Move becomes defunct.
When. Not if.

It is so they do not get sued or get bad press because of people damaging themselves

It’s a good idea, but it doesn’t make much sense considering the disc or program probably doesn’t check for controllers the moment it loads up.
@2, why the hate? The Move provides an entertaining way to play games.

Why is dislike considered “hate”?
I just said it’s irrelevant and annoying.
I’ve had a Wii for years and it’s sat idle since SM Galaxy.

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, it’s only 30s, yet time adds up. No point in warning people about a device they’re not using, and Sony wouldn’t be susceptible to lawsuits. What, are people going to sue Sony because the imaginary Move controller they’re NOT using injured them? See you in imaginary court then!
I tried to find an idea log of something like this before, yet didn’t turn up anything, so I logged it myself.

I don’t see why they couldn’t do this, if there’s no PlayStation Eye, then don’t show it. Because that’d be way easier than the controller way.

The move instructions screen is just one more in a long line of barriers to me playing a game on top of the multitudes of logos, piracy warnings and patches so I would be very happy to see this idea happen.
Sony, stop assuming everyone bought your overpriced peripheral..

Thanks for the support guys.
Would have said thanks earlier, yet Sony forgot to put a warning on my carpet, thus I slipped on the Move controller and banged my head. I subsequently saw various colors which induced a seizure, which Sony also didn’t warn me about via a contact lens.
