I think this will work very well and it is quite possible considering it is already out for the “playstation phone” but instead of the xperia play version it is the FULL game (or close to it).

This would be like a portable PC then! But… Minecraft is totally greater on PC.

I would want a PC port if this happens, not a port of the 360 version. Cause on 360 the inventory and crafting mechanics are totally different, but on the Vita instead of using a cursor to move things around in inventories and craft things, you could just use the touch panel to press, hold, and drag items around.

Minecraft for the Vita would be great! I’d never set my Vita down. I’d like it to have the same features as the pc version, but that’s up to the developers.

The vita can totally handle this, and I too would never be able to set my Vita down ever again.

This idea is great! Minecraft on PS VITA sounds even better than Minecraft on PS3! I really think that the graphics are gonna be pretty cool.

The PSVita could probably do a better job running this game than the XBox360.

I hear a rumour that Mojang (the company that created Minecraft) paid some other company to make the XBox360 version, but they had to sign a contract to prevent the game from being released on Playstation or Nintendo systems… I hope it’s not true, but if it is, I’ll write a clone of it myself and call it VitaCraft!

Sadly I read the contract is true. It sucks.

its already out for the nokia, so a port could easily be made and sold in the playstation mobile section of the online store
