The title said it all. I’m thinking to upgrade my PSP to a Vita however I still play Rock band: Unplugged from UMD and the only version I can buy is the “lite” from the PSN store.

You know in japan sony vita can do that it’s called the PS Passport Program you put your game in and you pay like $5 to get your UMD game to your vita. Sony needs to bring that to the US, I don’t know why they removed it its completely unfair. I’m not paying $19.99 for a game I already have. We need that UMD Passport Program Sony. Stop playing. You’re treating us Unfair.

If this is an idea for a PS Vita “collection” release like the PS3 then that’s fine but they should really stop re-releasing games and bring out new ones.

Yeah I still play UMD games that have NO CHANCE of EVER getting on the PS Store. We need that passport program!

Should be able to type in the product code from our UMD game and get a free downloadble copy. That’d be a great gesture from Sony.

We’re not getting the passport program… just let it go…
However, releasing UMD titles on PSN would be great… Crisis Core FF7 for example would get crazy love and sell like hotcakes…

Sony I agree with the rest of them its unfair that Japan has this program but we do not and I personally loved Metal gear Peacewalker and Dragonball Z Tenkaichi Tag Team on the psp but they are not on the PSN and I want them back to play. I unfortunately traded my old psp and umds to a friend so I dont have them anymore but all we want are our favorite titles back instead of the BS off the wall psp ports that you have up on the psn currently. Out of whats on the PSN already there was only one psp game that I downloaded and that was street fighter max alpha 3.

Games that need compatibility/PSN digital release:
Crisis Core FFVII
Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep
Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops
I know there’s some licensing issue that Square Enix has over those two (since they were never on PSN), but work it out! It’s money with little overhead (digital distribution)!

Rock Band Unplugged the full version would be wonderful. If my understanding is correct, you can’t even use the DLC tracks which means if you buy the Lite version, you’re SOL on even the regular songs, aren’t you?
