Yes. Same should go for all notifications: INCLUDING trophies. It cuts down on a lot of sifting through options.

This should be expanded to include all notifications; i.e. a new trophy notification jumps you to the game’s trophy page when pressing the PS button, the chat room for a chat notification, a friend when the friend is online notification pops up, etc…

That would be nice, of course, if it had the option to turn it on and off… I’m sure I’d like to use it sometimes, but other times I’d become rather annoyed when I’m trying to get to the xmb and I have to exit out of a message first

Well at the very least this should have been included at the get go. Cross Game chat requires servers and bandwith. This is just a GUI fix.

But, they should make this an optional thing that you can toggle on and off in the settings section on the XMB.

Oh god yes please, its something I’ve wanted since the first message I had ever received. Having to click through your mail inbox and letters can get very frustrating and prove to be quite stressful when trying to play a game at the same time.

thats one of the most annoying things in the world, waiting for the XMB to load up, then load your friends, then click on messages, then thier message. Yuck, too many steps.

Either open it right away, or give a prompt when you hit the PS button to view it or not.

This “Idea” kinda already exists in the popular ideas section already. But I’ll vote it up again.

Again, I think it should promt you to open the content or not first. Not always do I want to go and check out the trophy or message I just recieved, and it would get equally annoying if it constantly brought me to the message/trophy/friend who just signed on.

Also, what if you can’t select it in time becuase you are in the middle of playing some intense moment? I’d still like the ability to retrieve the msg quickly afterwards.
