I think this might have just begun happening. The trophy patch for MGS4 that just came out a few days ago displayed patch details right before downloading.

Really? I haven’t seen anything like that yet. Hopefully it’s already in the process of being implemented.

It happens for a few titles. It is probably optional for the developers.

Well if they already have this I think they need to urge more developers to use it. I enjoy knowing what patchs and updates are adding and fixing!
