In the next update sony will realease support for ps1 games and have them to be downloaded in the PS Store.

Indeed, and please don’t launch with 4-6 games and call it a day. We’ve bought these psx games before just put them all in at once so people can get the games they want. Especially the “square” games like FF7,8,9,Chrono Cross. And then games like Legend of Dragoon, Star Ocean, Metal Gear Solid (everyone has their favorites if you only drop 5 at time everyone will always be unhappy). At any rate the PSX games aren’t the “FOCUS” of the vita so there’s no need to trickle the games in. And theoretically you’ve already got the psn distribution license for them so you don’t need to renegotiate stuff so there’s really no excuse.
