Sorry to call it Dashboard, But the main screen before you start a game. I think there should be a Software update that changes the look a bit, because it is the same as the old PSP

OK, I’m pretty sure you’re talking about the XMB (X[cross] MediaBar). You’re complaining that the PS3 UserInterface looks like the PSP’s? Oh no! The horror of consistency!
See how much people hate change? Lots of “Ideas” on Blog.Share to pu that XBM UserInterface on the PSVita because people hate the way it works (I love it, so I don’t care)

The XMB won many awards for user friendliness. And you are proposing changing the interface because of (xbox 360′s dashboard changes every six months) a unified experience?
Don’t fix what isn’t broken, dude.
However, More generic themes would be a good idea.

I stay with the original theme etc. I don’t want it to change. They constantly add new and update it all the time. Whats wrong with that?

I love the xmb. It’s so easy to navigate and a lot of titles will have different backgrounds and sounds, plus you get BD previews when a disc is in the system. It’s very well organized, doesn’t become cluttered, looks good, has dynamic features that change based on content, and is so easy to use you simply can’t mess it up. Calling it a “dashboard” is like a slap in the face.
