PS1 and MIni downloads

Idea 63693 | Posted in , by | October 15, 2012

If I want to transfer a PS1 or mini game to my Vita from my PS3, I have to download the game and not install it. Let us move PS1 and Mini not installed downloads into a folder to avoid clutter.

I don’t think it can be done, since the game gets encrypted during installation, both in the PS3 and in the PSVita (and both in different ways).

its not possible because of the way the ps3 encrypts the games it downloads and copy protection software , but is possible using media go and a pc to download and install games later or backup games to a pc already on the vita ( or psp )

it simply must install on the vita or ps3 and can’t be moved to a folder if not installed yet same way a ps3 game cannot be moved if it has not been installed yet .
what you can do though is install to the ps3 and copy to the vita which will then install .

Sorting the install icons into a folder is doable, since the folders are only a group of symbolic icons (links), not a group of actual files.

The least that could be done is to put the folders containing PS3, PSone, PSmini games *above and before* the games that we have downloaded and not yet installed.

I can understand them not getting their own folder if the matter about encryption is true, but why do we still have to scroll past them when they can simply be shuffled to the very bottom of the two-way Games list on our XMB? It’s inconvenient and I don’t immediately see why that can’t be done in the latest of our systems’ many patches.
