PS1 Grey PS4

Idea 76639 | Posted in , by | November 15, 2014

The Playstation one 20th anniversary is coming up, September 9, 2014. And I think it would be amazing if Sony paid homage to its original system by bringing back the gray color for a PS4.

Update: Amazingly, this actually happened with the ultra-limited release of the PS4 20th Anniversary Edition. The ultimate collector’s edition?

Or a history of PlayStation documentory Would be cool For free on psn. Especially since a lot new young players started with ps3 or ps4. Already owning a ps4 wont have to go buy a retro ps4.But simply watch a documentory of the ps1 and how it evolved.Cheers!

Thanks playstation for making this happen. It kinda sucks that I won’t be able to pick one up since the supplies are so limited. but I do love that your were on the same page as me.

They should give you a free PS1 edition PS4 since you came up with this idea!

PlayStation as a whole has become something I am beginning to have a growing disdain for. Take the release of the special limited edition 20th anniversary PS4 (a title that seems as though it was intended to create hype among pre-pubescent children) with all its proclamation about symbolizing the heritage and soul of the PlayStation (pure BS). So how do they choose who they give it to? By a series of ridiculous challenges involving deciphering (and I use that term loosely) clues in posts on social networking sites, the winners of which most probably had an Xbox One or Wii U sitting in their living room. The people who should have received the PS4 were those who actually had history with PlayStation and remained supporters for their whole lives despite persistent promotional attempts made by other consoles which offered much encouragement to make a purchase promising many desirable features that PS lack. The PlayStation of the past will always be a part of me, but that of the present and perhaps future will not. PlayStation shows no love to the real supporters.
