Making the Dualshock 4 and MFi controller would be awesome! Make the Dualshock 4 be compatible with MFi devices!

Why the hell should Sony/Playstation care about crap Apple products. Sony makes Android tablets/phones, not iCrap. Also, the Dualshock4 controller works flawlessly in PS3 (USB), PC (USB or Bluetooth), Android (Bluetooth) and PSVita (Bluetooth). If iCrap devices don’t work with standards then tough luck, get a real phone.

MFi (of “Made For iPad” ) would be a lie anyway, because it’s litterally “Made For Playstation”.

Why? Well, for starters, to gain acceptance from a bunch of people that have (crap) Apple products.

Given that xbox has a windows remote app, and tomorrow PS4 will have a Windows/Mac remote app, the PS4 could begin to differentiate itself by being the only console supporting Apple products.

But, you’re right: MFi would be a lie.

I’ll give it a vote if it will draw more attention to using the Dualshock 4 with more mobile devices. Specifically I’d like to see a more compact, pocketable DS4 with a phone clip come out for this purpose. If it were to still behave as a regular DS4 with Sony’s Xperia Android phones and add MFi support then it could become a dominant controller for mobile. Then they would just need to expand Remote Play support to iOS. Potentially PS Now as well if they ever bring it to smartphones.
