This needs to happen.
Kevin Butler was not only a huge presence at E3 2010, he stole the stage from Senior Vice President Peter Dille during the PlayStation E3 press conference. KB in da house!

Just like Steam, there should be statistics showing how much time you’ve spent playing any Title. Ideally, PS1, PS2, PS3 titles should all be included. I love this feature on Steam.

Why can’t we have, instead of these obscenely long error codes that we then have to look up to interpret, just a message telling us EXACTLY what, to the best of the device’s knowledge, is the issue?

Click triangle on Trophy Collection on the XMB. Trophy Leaderboard displayed above the Sync with Server. Click on it, it then asks you to show the Top 20 or Show All. It’s your PS3 friends only.

With tax and shipping, getting your ps3 repaired by Sony cost almost as much as a brand new Xbox360 arcade. The price of a PS3 has gone down so it only makes sense that the repair cost should also.

Invite friends to play a game from a different game. Make it standard through the XMB, and not just certain games. This is what the PS3 needs to pass XBOX 360.

A feature similar to the What’s New Section in the XMB. There would be a yearly calendar that automatically updates the release dates for upcoming PS3/PSN games, and also include some brief info.

I would really love to use my NTFS external hard drive that I already own instead of having to by a larger internal hard drive or a fat 32 external hard drive.

If I’m playing a multiplayer game split-screen online, I would like for both of us to be able to have a bluetooth headset connected.

It would be better if we can have a Youtube app for PS3 and PSP. Similar to the one that we have on an iphone. Please provide SDK to users so that they can build apps on PS3 and PSP.
