Option to delete trophies

Idea 63682 | Posted in by | October 15, 2012

It would be great if Sony give us the option to delete trophies that we don’t want or just an option to hide them from the trophy collection. That will make the psn even better.

DragonWarrior117  |  October 17th, 2012 at 11:11 pm

Excellent idea:) they should do the same with clearing download history as well:) so support this idea people just imagine if you had full of trophies that you earn an all the sudden you don’t want it anymore an want to deleted. So this is an excellent idea;0

Kyle756  |  October 19th, 2012 at 8:18 pm

This is a good idea, it annoys me to have trophies for games I no longer own, to be able to specifically get rid of some game trophies by contacting support would be great

Kyle756  |  October 19th, 2012 at 8:22 pm

I honestly don’t know why there is an active crowd who do nothing but vote this idea down, it doesn’t effect them if others remove their own trophies some of us don’t like all the clutter, to ignore us would be Sony discriminating against people with OCD like me

Demonhunter84  |  October 21st, 2012 at 9:23 pm

Would be nice to have this option for games with 0 percent.

Kyle756  |  October 23rd, 2012 at 7:08 pm

But expand it for games that also are above 0 percent, as much as it seems like a joke, it genuinely causes me and others discomfort to see trophies for games we don’t own, due to OCD

LordVDoom  |  October 24th, 2012 at 6:22 pm

yes to the idea..who the heck votes no to this..whats the deal

moteky  |  November 5th, 2012 at 12:36 am

Why can’t I delete trophies, Sony? Why is this not an option? I would like to know.

Fumoffu_Sousuke  |  November 7th, 2012 at 10:46 pm

Yes, add this. Then I can play that Hannah Montana game (For the trophies of course) get the platinum, then just hide it and forget it ever happened.

destroyer_maine  |  November 16th, 2012 at 2:36 am

I would prefer if I could delete them and it was like they were never there. Even if it mean I lose the level percentage from what I earned from those games. Sony should have a “Hide Trophies” and “Delete Trophies” option.

Tacticx95  |  November 25th, 2012 at 1:01 pm

I really hope they add this option to the ps3 and to the psvita

Cedicus  |  December 9th, 2012 at 12:20 pm

I hope they add this feature. There are many games I want to delete off my trophy list. They should also round down the score to adjust with the lost trophy. I would be willing to pay for this feature.

floodfog1898  |  December 11th, 2012 at 1:50 pm

I really hope this happens I’ll pay for the feature

DonkeyKongKilla  |  December 13th, 2012 at 7:55 am

Didn’t I see someone else post this idea? I swore I commented on this DUMB idea before, hmm… Make it look like you completed the trophies fully when you really didn’t wow, how pathetic is that, I can see maybe if you popped up a game and never really played it to get any trophies to have it automatically erased from your list seeing how 0% is completed, but come on you want it to say 100% completed when you didn’t do all of it? WOW

floodfog1898  |  December 14th, 2012 at 1:43 am

To DonkeyKongKilla the reason I want the ability to delete trophies off my psn list is for the games I don’t like and the trophy list is left on my account or a game where I had a few trophies and now the severs for the games are shutdown making the game impossible to either 100% or platinum so I’d rather just delete it off my list and make it a complete 100% list and the hiding feature just hide platinums that could ridicule you like the Hanna Montana game which you want the plat on your account but you don’t wanna see it or have others bag on you for the kiddy platinum

DonkeyKongKilla  |  December 16th, 2012 at 4:42 pm

@flood its more of the line, you make your bed now lay in it. You wanna play hanna montana and get all the trophies or something for it, fine.. just tell it how it is, you did it for the trophies, or lie and say a niece or friend or such did it but on your account so you’d get the trophies for it. I completely agree on the other things like some games are at 0% and I guarantee i will never be playing them again so it looks dumb to keep a zero percent game on my list. in that case yeah, but deleting certain trophies no, if its because the servers for it shut down, then contact the company directly and contact sony and see what you can do to fix this.

S3NTYN3L_  |  December 20th, 2012 at 11:19 am

This feature should have been with us from the start!

I’ve several trophy lists (most above 0%) that I’ve LOVE to do away with.

Sony, PLEASE listen to your customers and implement this already!!!

jsm-ToXic  |  December 20th, 2012 at 2:08 pm

This feature will be a help to use all. (^-^)/ I want my zero % to go away.

Dubloon7  |  December 28th, 2012 at 12:20 pm

delete the trophies, that way gives us another chance to replay games just like new.

eaboytes9189  |  January 3rd, 2013 at 4:40 am

God please help us!!! we want to be able to delete trophies from our playstation network account

sevexpei  |  January 3rd, 2013 at 11:40 am

Seriously, as someone who has mild to severe OCD, this would be an awesome feature.

At the very least let us delete trophy records for games with 0%.

Another thing that bugs me to no end, is when someone else accidentally unlocks a trophy on my account. I wish I could delete it and earn it again myself. Deleting earned trophies would probably be a huge disaster in terms of data tracking.

SaintRapture  |  January 5th, 2013 at 3:30 pm

YES PLEASE. I want my trophies to be organized and look better. Say if I knew I wasn’t going to platinum a game, then why not be able to delete it? Please Sony? But of course when you choose to delete it, you would have to put your PSN password to make sure that it’s you deleting them.

Penn228  |  January 6th, 2013 at 12:18 pm

They are not sure whether they can protect the server data completely safe, so they just totally closed the “modifying trophies” door. But I am wondering if hackers are only able to delete the 0% trophies, are we gonna be mad? Absolutely not!
I wanna say to these sony people, don’t rape your users with your pathetic stupid trophy system. Listen carefully to what your users said!

RxRyRz  |  January 24th, 2013 at 11:28 pm

It’s just annoying that the option isn’t avaiable to people. if people don’t want a game on their account, they shouldn’t have it.

Assassinjeph  |  February 5th, 2013 at 11:08 pm

If this was implemented, in the event of someone losing control of their account it would be all too easy for somebody to delete your trophies and in the case of the download list your actual purchases. Once this started to happen all the people that cried out for this would be piling on to sue sony for lost purchases and the like.

Aya_Brea_1984  |  February 15th, 2013 at 11:10 am

I would like to have this feature!

Shi3re  |  February 20th, 2013 at 1:32 pm

I have friends who have come to my house and played their ps3 game on my system. Now I have a trophy list for a ps3 game I neither want nor will ever play again. So I would like to be able to delete the list.

grbolivar  |  February 27th, 2013 at 4:44 pm

PPleaseee!!! Allow to delete trophies! Just ask for the password when deleting though, I don’t want my sister deletimg them! O__O

Zerocole  |  March 21st, 2013 at 8:41 pm

Totally agree, but I think there should be an option to toggle on or off the online trophies and multiplayer trophies. I am not an online gamer and I really never complete any platinum trophies because there is always multiplayer trophies now. I would love to be able to get a platinum for completing my games offline. I play games for stories and completion.

C-t-Elder  |  March 26th, 2013 at 9:19 am

Definitely for the idea. Please, make it possible to delete them. Or at least make them not appear on the list. It bugs the hell out of me to see the zeros/tens for games that sucked and went back on day 2.

Phoenix7469  |  April 12th, 2013 at 11:01 pm

How would it make PSN “better”? Maybe your experience on PSN but not its overall quality. Just saying.

She-Wolf78  |  May 14th, 2013 at 9:00 am

I’ve been wanting Sony to do this for such a long time and yet they still haven’t done it for us. How hard is it really to whip up a quick update where you click triangle and there’s a delete option right there for you on your Trophy Collection? We should be able to do this with BOTH PS3 and Vita games. That “Welcome Park” thing for Vita? Are you kidding me? No full-fledged Trophy Hunter wants to see such an embarrassing thing on their Trophy List. It shouldn’t have had trophies to begin with. Your just learning how to use the thing. I want a few things off my list that’s for sure. MAKE IT HAPPEN SONY! Seriously. Why is it Microsoft actually LISTENS to what it’s customers want but you seem to fail to do so each time a simple request is made? Let us delete any trophy list we want in our collection. Seriously. The update we’re asking for here isn’t to change the whole of the system. It’s to do one simple thing people have wanted to have happen since Trophies first came out. Please make it happen.

nukEm1000  |  July 7th, 2013 at 6:15 pm

Please Sony, make it happen!!!!!!!!

I_Own_Ubers  |  July 26th, 2013 at 1:19 pm

I played a demo for super stardust and now its on my trophy list, ive never had the full game even on my system so this is ridiculous, i have a couple of games that i just want gone… i dont car if it subtracts the relevant star level points and trophies from my profile thats expected, but for my slightly ocd tendencies it annoys me so much having them there

S4V463_F0XH0UND  |  July 26th, 2013 at 3:51 pm

I would love to see this happen.

>_> Why would people downvote this I have no idea but please, I wanna get rid of games on my trophy list like FEAR 2 and such.

LiamKawa  |  August 4th, 2013 at 10:20 pm

Yes! I have a few games that I sold or rented, and now they’re sitting there with 2%! If I could at least hide them, that would be great!

LionHeart_Russia  |  August 11th, 2013 at 7:13 pm

Option to delete trophies is my dream… Sony make.believe? No?

Ja-Milz  |  August 12th, 2013 at 5:24 pm

I understand if you have old games or games you didn’t like stuck in your trophy listing but those trophies are what gives you your network id rank. I have over 150 titles in my home right now and when I include my psn games it’s gotta be over 2 or 3 hundred games I own, some have trophies installed but I never played cause the games sucked, I’d love to delete those but the ones I have trophies for I’ll keep

jk111-_  |  August 17th, 2013 at 3:23 pm

Trophies represent your achievements in the games you have played. I do not understand why people would want to delete or get rid of their achievements. They are there to remind you that you were able to do this whether it was hard, easy, boring, or fun and maybe also show that you got this and your friend did not. In my opinion a trophy delete system would just take up unnecessary space on your ps3.

haseo592  |  September 12th, 2013 at 5:32 pm

donkeykongkilla why in the world should the person have to go through the trouble of calling if it all could be resolved very easily with no trouble at all by simpley being able to delete it yourself. you seem to be the kind of person that always wants to make things more complicated than what they have to be. if you don’t want to use the feature you don’t have to but there is no reason others shouldn’t have it as an option to get rid of trophies they don’t want or any reason to have them shown if they don’t want them shown. these are games. games shouldn’t have to be “you make your bed now lie in it” when it comes to trophies or such things like that. and people shouldn’t have to lie bc of a game

Un4Seen_______  |  September 26th, 2013 at 8:51 pm

Do this for games with trophies 10% or less, not just 0%, there are some games out there where all u do is press start and a trophy pops, lol, make it so ppl can try a game and if they don’t plan on keep playing they can remove it from the list, I also like the hide option.

aVeRsioN_X  |  May 8th, 2014 at 11:32 pm

They should let you do this for any game you want on your profile. Just ask for your password for confirmation before it does it.

I would love to remove glitched trophies, or other games that were not worth playing from my profile without having to make a new one.

Making a new ID would mean I would have to change my information on numerous websites that have that I.D. .. That’s just not right.
