Update PS Store on Tuesday at Midnight.

If you want to compete with retailers and embrace digital distribution, don’t make us wait so long to get our games. Also, let us pre-load games like Steam.

Not only preload like steam… but preload like the EU Version of PSN. So dumb we don’t have that yet.. I’m 1000000x for this.

Midnight update in cali, hmm don’t think they’d really care seeing how many people have jobs throughout the day and they’re at the end of the time zone for most people it’d be later than midnight so I highely doubt it’d happen, they update throughout the evening of tuesday which is when most people get out of work and get home. hmmm…. don’t think it’d help much, and EU isn’t widely spread out like NA so it really doesn’t hurt them

In total agreement here, it should be like any other retail outlet with merchandise to sell.

This needs to be enacted on ASAP. I should think that all Sony/SEN managers, directors or V.P. of whatever care about their customer experience. Right now, my customer experience is pretty lacklustre. I don’t normally complain like most of the people in the comments section of the playstation blog, but I’ve had enough. I remember some point in perhaps October or November of 2012 the store was updating at like 1 or even 2 pm est. this was pretty damn early by SEN standards and it was nice. Lately I’m noticing a lot of store updates rolling out at like freaking 8pm est. that is atrocious. Steam releases are available post midnight. Xbox live updates steadily fthroughout the morning in EST. SEN though, seems to think it is entirely acceptable to make their customer base wait and extra 5-6 hrs. This is insulting. If other platforms are capable of earlier and timely updates to their online stores, then why does Sony think that their substandard performance warrants customer loyalty or respect?
