Can you please make the PS4 and the Logitech g25 and Logitech g27 wheel compatible. PS3 does work with it. Thanks, hope this does happen.

Has to be a standard feature for all future racing games!

sibbor  |  May 21st, 2014 at 5:21 pm

I’d love to use my Logitech G27. Only game I used it for ’til today is Gran Turismo 5 on the PS3.

Biffdiver  |  June 8th, 2014 at 12:51 pm

We really need legacy (PS3) racing wheel support on PS4. Project CARS out in November, and a sim like that really deserves much better than Thrustmaster’s T80.

G_V_Black  |  June 23rd, 2014 at 8:34 am

Yes please! Should apply to all PS3 wheels really. I have the Gran Turismo branded Driving Force GT wheel, and I will pass on PS4 racing games unless I can use it.

(With Logitech out of the console peripheral business, I think we’re out of luck.)

Faite nous une MaJ pour les G25 et G27, on va en avoir grand besoin pour les futurs jeu sur Ps4.

redrumerog  |  August 8th, 2014 at 3:59 pm

We need to have Logitech wheel support for PS4, in fact support all steering wheels supported by the PS3, that would cement the win for SONY in the console wars.

Seiher  |  August 8th, 2014 at 4:20 pm

Wenn die PS4 bis ende des Jahres die lenkräder nicht unterstütz, werde ich wohl auf den PC wechseln. Sorry sony aber das ist nicht 4 the players. Das ist für den Arsch

ThisPaleSun  |  August 8th, 2014 at 4:25 pm

Please support my g27!!! It world be an absolute slap in the face to gamers who spent their hard earned cash on an expensive and quality product. There is no reason it shouldn’t be supported by ps4, so please make it happen!!

    DONT-PRAY  |  December 17th, 2016 at 4:25 pm

I understand that the PS4 should support the G27 and G25 wheel setups. It’s a real bad move Sony pulled only supporting the more expensive but not any better G29.

I own a G27 and I have got it working with my PS4. I had to purchase a USB hub and a Chronusmax Plus. My G27 works with all functions on my PS4. If you have any questions on how to set it up, message me, and check out the chronusmax site and look for PS4 Wheel support mode

schumi26  |  August 8th, 2014 at 4:42 pm

Yes All Players wants Logitech Wheels support on PS4. DriveClub, The Crew, and Project Cars comming. Many players have Logitech or Fanatech Wheels and we want play with on PS4. Please Update PS4 faster.

TT_PRICE  |  August 8th, 2014 at 4:50 pm

I will not be purchasing any racing games on the ps4 unless the G27 is supported.

RedSkyII  |  August 8th, 2014 at 5:05 pm

Have waited to purchase a PS4 until decent racing games are released. Now with such games arriving soon looked at purchasing, however, with no Logitech G25/G27 support I won’t be buying a PS4 given my investment in that setup.

Support the most popular wheels

BIGSAMI  |  August 8th, 2014 at 5:17 pm

Seems unbelievable that this has not already happened, come on please Sony, “for the players” are we? PROVE IT!

Comendatore__72  |  August 8th, 2014 at 6:09 pm

I will not be purchasing any racing games on the ps4 unless the G27 is supported.

Tommy_KarDiNaL  |  August 8th, 2014 at 6:10 pm

There is a petition that I signed to get this. The guy in charge sent a mass email out notifying everyone of this blog. I will absolutely give all the support I can to this matter because this is a must for GT7. However I did hear that it’s actually Logitech’s fault for not supplying the drivers to PS4. Apparently they stopped making drivers for consoles. So while I’ll do everything in my power to make this issue known in the PS4 community, maybe we should be pleading to Logitech. Again that’s just what I read on the Internet so I’m not sure if this is true or not, but I wish Sony would officially address this issue again because when PS4 launched they said everything that worked on PS3 and things that work on PC will work on PS4.

Happyx01  |  August 8th, 2014 at 7:11 pm

I recently bought a G27 racing wheel new and logitech is still selling more this days so I want it to be compatible wih the PS4 with any racing games at launch like Driveclub, Project Cars, The Crew and GT7. Hurry up also there is a petition on we just need 400 more signatures.

silva-sport  |  August 8th, 2014 at 9:02 pm

During the promotion of the PS4, Sony official’s released a statement that the PS4 would be compatible with PS3 and PC peripherals and compatible games. So I in anticipation of Project Cars and possible GT7 release I bought the ultimate realism and immersive, console compatible, racing wheel set on the market, the ClubSport Wheel base, pedals, rim and shifter. Now two months away from the release of Project Cars there ia no PS4 compatibility.

Racing Sims are my main interest in gaming and as it stands, this loyal fan of the PlayStation console is now forced to consider a PC platform. In my research of PC systems and racing games I am finding that the level of play I have been seeking can be achieved, but for now I am still holding on to console possibilities with upcoming titles, please keep the interest for Sim Racing fans alive in console gaming.

copperj32  |  August 8th, 2014 at 11:17 pm

Also add support for the Logitech DFGT wheel as there are still lots out there that use this wheel

Tout leurs volants devraient être rendus compatibles.
Du DRIVING FORCE GT jusqu’au G27.
A plus de 120 € pièce c’est justifié me semble t il.
Et cette fin d’année va être riche en jeu de voiture sur next gen.

MrTom1970  |  August 9th, 2014 at 3:21 am

We need Logitech wheels on PS4. I wanna use my G27 with Driveclub and Gran Turismo 7.

DoubleVizion  |  August 9th, 2014 at 5:18 am

Support for 3rd party wheels is a must add feature! Listen to the players Sony and the developers as we’ve already been teased from your own drive club devs and with games coming out like project cars and gt7 why wouldn’t you want the best experience for the players on the best console?

Imredow_  |  August 9th, 2014 at 5:24 am

Why isn’t this a standard feature already? This has to come to the ps4!!!!

Marilee_Stone  |  August 9th, 2014 at 5:49 am

No Fanatec wheel support on PS4 – no racing games on PS4! Quite simple calculation for me. I will not sell my expensive Clubsport steering wheel and then buy myself a Thrustmaster scrap. Never Sony, because you can be sure. Then I play rather continue my old racing games on the PS3.
This is not for the players – that’s the truth for Sony!

Skysurf51  |  August 9th, 2014 at 7:52 am

Please support Logitech racing wheels for the ps4. With things like project morpheus, the ps4 could easily be the console of choice for console racers. But in order to do that, it needs to support the wheels that the players already have, which Sony has supported since now, and which every one expected to work on the ps4.

Sony is back on top this generation because they listen to the players, unlike the competition. Please continue to do so. Support our wheels!

rogerthatwilco  |  August 9th, 2014 at 1:44 pm

Don’t feel like buying a brand new wheel as my GT 25 is brand new, please get this sorted as I WILL NOT buy PS4 racing titles without wheel support. Sony PS3 Bluetooth headsets are not compatible with the PS4 as well!? Beginning to get that sinking feeling with this…

tornadoscrew  |  August 9th, 2014 at 4:21 pm

the ps4 is more than capable of working with a bunch of sterring wheels, this is just a license or money related issue or something along the lines.
What i also think is that remember when gran turismo 5 was released the g25 and g27 didn’t work either it was a year after it’s 2010 dec release in oct 2011 that support was added for those wheels and i bet the same thing is happening allover, thrustmaster just like then bought or made some kind of deal that their wheel the t500rs was the only one that would work, seeing as only that brand of wheels also work on project cars only i’m not surprised it’ll happen but just in 2015 say around sep or oct but certainly not now unless alot of public pressure or vote with your wallets action happens before sony or 3rd party publishers actually take note and listen!

Kaotic_72  |  August 9th, 2014 at 4:47 pm

Please add support for the G27 wheel. We as loyal customers support your product. Don’t make us spend more money for doing so.

daddyzbadboy  |  August 9th, 2014 at 7:30 pm

Please add support for Logitech and fanatec wheels

obaid_aslam  |  August 9th, 2014 at 10:54 pm

This is pathetic….as we were so excited to get a ps4 and play racing games with it…..when we saw the ps4 releasing video and now we find out logitech g27 does not work with it….what the heck is this? please provide an update for this! ASAP.

silva-sport  |  August 10th, 2014 at 12:39 am

I am beginning to think the post on Project Cars blog is right, console racing is fading out. Well, at least for me it is with Sony pulling this kind of stunt. As I said earlier, my interest is racing Sims, that’s why I have a PlayStation. This has lead me to purchase a handful of RPG’s, (Final Fantasy, Battlefield, God Of War) but this is not my true passion for gaming. So let’s look at my options, spend $600+ on a Thrustmaster toy, AKA piece of craps or put that $600 with the $300+ from selling my PS4 and build a gaming PC! Sony, you lose!

Seb-C89  |  August 10th, 2014 at 6:58 am

If it’s about money why not start a crowdfunding campaign ? Players pay their drivers !?

McKiernan  |  August 10th, 2014 at 12:14 pm

I don’t even have a G25 any longer but I still support this. The more people playing driving games on PS4 the better the experience for everyone

CalcaJVL  |  August 10th, 2014 at 2:11 pm

Please.. no G25/G27.. no racing games on PS4

f1maj7  |  August 10th, 2014 at 2:37 pm

thie7895  |  August 10th, 2014 at 4:11 pm

No G25 and no G27 = no drive on PS4 !!!
Sony, we should’nt have to beg you for that !
What a shame !

zoidy8  |  August 10th, 2014 at 5:01 pm

PS4 owners shouldn’t have to beg to make this happen. Worthy racing titles are going to be released soon — please do what it takes to make this happen before they do. Your rewarded will be more console sales this holiday season.

free_styler786  |  August 11th, 2014 at 8:01 am

No Logitech wheel support, no PS4 for me. I, like many others will simply move on to a gaming Pc where there are no limitations on hardware.

bowled_him  |  August 11th, 2014 at 1:10 pm

I have just cancelled my pre-order for Project Cars and will not buy it until the folks at Sony/Logitech get off their backsides and think of the people who have spent a great deal of money on a PS4.

We have Project CARS and the the new F1 game in the not too distant future and i simply wont buy them without support for my G25, i’ve had it 5 years and it is still in fine working order. I’ve owned Thrustmaster products before and found them sub-standard.

There are many people out there with G25/g27’s, surely a company of Sonys size can realise that you should give the customer what they want.

I sincerely hope that like 3D blu-ray support, G25/G27 support will come in time, but im simply not buying a racing game until they support my wheel. So Sony its really simply, support my wheel or you dont get my money!

kotezgz  |  August 11th, 2014 at 5:06 pm

No g27 support, no ps4 racing games. Simple as that.

bgardner  |  August 11th, 2014 at 7:41 pm

also system menu support and system wide button mapping for logitech wheels and other wheels. i have a driving force gt and wireless wheels im not the t80 getting as the dfgt is a better wheel. ie. L2 R2 mapped pedals left right on left analog mapped to the wheel and so on so the wheel will work in any racing game not just supported games saving developers time and money.

bgardner  |  August 11th, 2014 at 8:34 pm

example is L2/R2 to pedals, left/right on left analog to the wheel, shifting +/-shifter nob/paddles & save the mapped profile so when you plug in the wheel is already remapped . this will make any game racing wheel capable even if developers dont support them

bgardner  |  August 11th, 2014 at 8:48 pm

we spend hundreds even thousands on get the full racing experience but how can we get this when logitech wheels wont even work on the ps4 less people will buy racing game on the even know if the wheel will work. i have a trittion pro+ headset made not even mad for a ps4 put it works 100% so why cant ps3 racing wheels like the DFGT should work is a grand turismo/playstation official wheel. aleast give us word if or when the ps4 will support them

ZeroX9876  |  August 11th, 2014 at 9:11 pm

I was hoping to play Driveclub with my steering wheel. I didn’t even know the G25/27 wasn’t supported until just now. I took for granted that it was compatible. C’mon Sony, you can do better than this!

FFK13  |  August 11th, 2014 at 9:25 pm

No G27 support means that I probably won’t buy a single racing game for the PS4, so please this needs to be added!

badz-149  |  August 11th, 2014 at 10:15 pm

I’ve been eying for the best moment to buy the G27 wheel for years and now with it being several years old, the price is going down and I’m ready to grab one to use with my PS3 and PS4 but it’s not gonna work on PS4? this should be just a small drivers/licensing issues, solvable with a simple update, right? please leave the dirty money grabbing tactics at Microsoft’s front door and start supporting the G25/G27 wheels, Sony! these are arguably the best wheels out there and racing games are coming to the PS4. you gotta do this! FOR THE PLAYERS/GAMERS, remember?

kie25  |  August 12th, 2014 at 3:25 am

This is a must I know so many people that own g25 and g27, only thing I’m confused about is I know a few people working on drive club and they have assured me my g27 will work as they test the game with logitech wheels, either way this needs sorting fast.

joe998  |  August 12th, 2014 at 4:41 am

I and 3 of my friends won’t be buying a PS4 until this happens! Get it sorted $ony

handrajoso  |  August 12th, 2014 at 4:44 am

Esto es sencillo me parece que sois unos caraduras si no haceis compatible los volantes Logitech, si no recapacitáis no me quedara otra que vender la ps4. Tengo todas vuestras consolas pero ya basta de sangrar a los clientes. DECEPCIONANTE.
