For me it wasn’t even a question that wheels from Logitech or Fanatec would be supported on PS4 until i read about it 4 Days ago.
Project C.A.R.S. was going to be the PS4-System-Seller for me (instead of GT7 in more than a year) but after i read about the non-support of my Logitech G25 my Interests in the ps4 are getting less!

I can’t believe that anyone in their right mind would vote no on this. That leads me to believe that the no votes are one of three outcomes! First people are hitting the no buttons to keep the votes of this charge from being higher than the one they’re really interested in. 2, Blog portal intentionally or unintentionally tallies incorrectly. 3, page not refreshing correctly.

One would think that with as many voters for this change that Sony would have responded by now, just goes to show how important the consumer really is to Sony. GREATNESS AWAITS, RLMAON!!!

I would like to add my voice to the request for Logitech G25/G27/DFGT steering wheel support for PS4.

A large number of your customer base will have invested a lot of money in these steering wheels, and are unlikely to be prepared to waste money on yet another steering wheel.

Sony, please liaise with Logitech and ensure there is driver support for these wheels for the PS4.

Maybe change the headline. Because it is not only the G25 Steering wheel.
It is G27/DFGT/Fanantec Wheels these are expensive parts for playing games. And i think these are not old! They are quite good for having a better racing experience.

If no one adds support for my Logitech G27 to the PS4 then I will stick to playing Gran Turismo 5 on my PS3 and then move on to PC sim racing.

It will be a big mistake by Sony to leave out the majority of their customers’ preferred peripheral. Forcing us to use expensive T500 or T300 which is preferred by the minority of sim racers, will only keep us away from PS4. Consequently Any respectable sim racing game on PS4 will not sell well.

I trust Sony will do the right thing. If not, it will be farewell for me.

Danke Sony, that’s NOT for the Players – das ist für’n Arsch!!!

no racing game for me for PS4. would just use my existing racing games on PS3. hard to shell out another $100+ racing wheel just for PS4.

bbellancien  |  August 23rd, 2014 at 1:53 am

Chaguix  |  August 23rd, 2014 at 6:02 am

It’s easy to see that costumers DEMANDS support for Logitech G25/G27 steering wheels. Don’t play dumb Sony, you are on the lead now. Please add support to those wheels, or else many people will play those racing games on a PC.

smokygille  |  August 27th, 2014 at 9:11 am

vicbarcel  |  August 28th, 2014 at 8:01 am

C’mon sony. Do this for your costumers

Stiggs1  |  August 29th, 2014 at 10:34 am

I was looking forward to playing all of the driving games coming out for the PS4. Unfortunately, I found out my Logitech steering wheel will not work with the PS4. It sounds like Logitech is willing to work with Sony and the game developers to make this happen. I just hope Sony realizes their mistake and continues to support the racing wheels. Seems strange to alienate a large racing fan base over something that should be easy to implement.

Can you please make the PS4 and the Logitech g25 and Logitech g27 wheel compatible.

Chaguix  |  August 31st, 2014 at 2:08 am

Vacok  |  August 31st, 2014 at 9:52 am

I am currently owning a PS3 and a PS4. I purcased a G27 for the PS3, and I am not planning to buy any other wheel for playing with my PS4. If the compatibility or support issue won’t be solved I sell all my Sony stuff and buy a PC. Most of the titles can be played on PC as well, so it won’t me to lose anything.

gaborracsko  |  August 31st, 2014 at 1:04 pm

G27 tolajdonosként szeretném ha a Logitech kormányok támogatva lennének.
As a G27 owner I would highly appriciate Logitech wheel support.

cyberba001  |  September 1st, 2014 at 3:55 am

I’m so disappointed, I bought my G27 in May 2014 …
If my steering wheel doesn’t become compatible with the PS4, i will not buy the PS4 🙂

diegormico  |  September 1st, 2014 at 7:02 am

$ony ($$$$+$$$$$)

No Logitech, NO P$4 .

Andre_PSID  |  September 1st, 2014 at 3:10 pm

Really shame on Sony if they drop this ball.. I came from Microsoft systems and one of the reasons I changed this time around was that Sony actually listen to their fans… plus a promise that old peripherals would work on the new system…
Can’t understand why they are only supporting Thrustmaster…

cyberba001  |  September 1st, 2014 at 4:48 pm

it’s just to buy a new steering Wheel…

Sony can dream…

Zogmonster  |  September 1st, 2014 at 5:06 pm

Sony PS4 “This is for the 3rd party manufacturers licence fee”

ThemanNiCkO  |  September 2nd, 2014 at 1:21 pm

Also add sonys endorsed logitech gt “gran turismo” steering wheel. I only bought it in 2013, and point blank refuse to buy another wheel, that is no better than the one I’ve got. If I can’t use my wheel, I won’t buy a driving game, which is a terrible direction for Sony to take. If this Is purely down to financial greed with exclusive agreement with thrust master, then I can see this upsetting Sony haters even further.

Please do what’s right for your loyal customers, and officially make a statement so we know where we stand. Just hope it’s a statement that makes existing steering wheel owners happy.

T3Theodor  |  September 2nd, 2014 at 2:13 pm

PS4 and G27 waiting driveclub here as well. Almost a year already and no proper racing games. Pretty expensive settop box to watch netflix ocassionally?:(

Giby_92220  |  September 2nd, 2014 at 4:18 pm

no logitech wheel support (dfgt/g25/g27) –> no driving game purchase on PS4

The_Fireball  |  September 3rd, 2014 at 3:07 am

With the likes of Drive Club on the horizon, it’s a no brainer

Stephammer  |  September 3rd, 2014 at 6:19 pm

I have two G25 Logitech and Playseats… No logitech wheel support, no driving game purchase on PS4… Drive Club, The Crew and P.Cars. Sorry

Mancubus77  |  September 4th, 2014 at 7:12 am

How do I comment on this issue without sounding harsh or too pissed off? I don’t know. But I simply am. I am a proud and happy owner of a G27 with a Fanatec Wheelstand and it’s a brillant combination for playing GT 5 and 6. I bought the PS4 on day 1 and I was just a little irritated the wheel would not work with NFS, but it’s not really a game for a wheel anyway and it was right after launch. Still, I just took it as given, that I will be playing GT7 on my PS4 one day with my trusted G27. The simple idea that you would no longer support the pinnacle of steering wheel technology didn’t even come to my mind. Tons on features PS3 had are gone and promised to be added at a later time. That’s fine by me if the focus is on the right stuff and if the time it takes is not too long. Well, it does. November will see The Crew, Driveclub and Project Cars and at least the former two are games begging for a steering wheel. I went through the first Driving Force Pro to the Driving Force GT up to the G27 and I simply refuse to throw it away and buy a wheel I don’t want for 500 bucks in total, just because you can’t get your s*** together. “This is for the players”? Well…

sapphs  |  September 4th, 2014 at 9:15 am

+1 – please add the support for G25/G27.

Frozenflamekid  |  September 4th, 2014 at 1:01 pm

I have a Logitech Force GT. I want to buy DriveClub and Project Cars for the PS4 but if there is no support for the wheel I will just buy Project Cars on PC and NOT buy DriveClub at all.

Please SONY, add support for MY wheel so I can buy YOUR games.

FIaco  |  September 4th, 2014 at 1:32 pm

Dear Sony,

The Logitech wheels have been the go to wheel by myself and many racing game fans for years. You yourself Sony have pushed many Logitech wheels as the preferred wheels for games such as Gran Turismo. I know that I am not the only one who has spent hundreds if not over a $1000 on our racing set up.

Please make this right by adding Logitech Wheel support for PS4. Whiteout it myself and many other fans will not be able to enjoy YOUR games such as Driveclub, Gran Tursimo, project Cars, the Crew, and others.

Thank You from a true SONY FAN,

redrumerog  |  September 4th, 2014 at 4:17 pm

This decision will not only be the deciding factor as to whether I’ll be buying racing games for PS4 or PC but also whether I buy Project Morpheus or Oculus Rift, but as it stands right now I’ll be taking my racing to PC and I’ll be buying the Oculus Rift, sorry Sony, but this isn’t MY fault or the fault of the rest of us gamers. We chose a device that you supported on PS3, logically it should have been safe to assume you would continue to support said device on PS4, I won’t be buying Gran Turismo titles anymore or any DriveClub titles either.

Full__Revs  |  September 5th, 2014 at 1:20 pm

The Crew,
Project Cars,
& F1 2015 – all games i was looking forward to playing on my ps4 with my Fanatec CSR wheel.
Please don’t make me have to sell my PS4 & upgrade my PC to play these games with my setup!

MONTYYYYYYYYY  |  September 6th, 2014 at 5:46 am

No Logitech and Fanatec support on PS4 no PS4!!!!!!!!,
why you don t let our Wheel s work Sony it s a shame of Sony
why you blocked our wheel work rather that the PSN Network work this is a shame to

MONTYYYYYYYYY  |  September 6th, 2014 at 5:56 am

Geodion  |  September 6th, 2014 at 11:52 am

I will not buy project cars or any other racing game if ps4 doesnt support logitech wheels

johndennis2003  |  September 6th, 2014 at 3:52 pm

BananaCommando  |  September 7th, 2014 at 5:26 am

I am massively disappointed that my Logitech G27 will not be supported. I purchased the wheel for my PS3 about 1-2 years ago, and considering it is a standard USB device I am frustrated that Sony has chosen not to support it. It is a slap in the face to their existing customers, in an attempt to force us to buy new peripherals because of a new partnership with Thrustmaster. I was waiting for Project CARS to buy my PS4 but will shift my gaming to the PC if this is the case.

Please do the reasonable thing and extend support to existing wheels.

RRAAGG  |  September 7th, 2014 at 11:49 am

Selling ps4 if it doesn’t support all ps3 wheels… Fanatec etc

appdlus  |  September 7th, 2014 at 7:54 pm

will go for pc if g27 wont be supported. and that after years of loyal playstation gaming, what a disappointment!!!!

Invictus321  |  September 7th, 2014 at 11:30 pm

I will not be purchasing a PS4 unless I can use my G27 wheel with it. Otherwise I will just play PC racers! Your choice Sony!

Shion_0499  |  September 7th, 2014 at 11:45 pm

I would love to see the Logitech g27 on ps4 because I might no be the only one who thinks that this is the best steering wheel for any console and it is not fair make us pay for another steering wheel just for the ps4 when Sony can just make it compatible.

varmintx  |  September 8th, 2014 at 12:37 am

We were promised that all the PS3 compatible steering wheels would also be compatible with the PS4; what happened?

Ravenhash_ZA  |  September 8th, 2014 at 4:14 am

Please Sony don’t drop us we have stood by you through many releases of other Consoles, all we request is that you simply find a solution to allow us to use existing hardware on our new Consoles. I own two G27’s and to be honest I have cancelled my PS4 Pre-Order of “Project Cars” and place a Pre-Order for the PC Version, as the wheels are still not incompatible with PS4.

Please do not ruin what you have worked to achieve for so long, as I can assure you, you will loose may Gamers to other Consoles if this continues.

ShadowGamer966  |  September 8th, 2014 at 12:57 pm

Please support Logitech Force GT. It’s better than offical supported whells on PS4.
