Join Game Through Quick Menu

Idea 86776 | Posted in , by | October 14, 2016

Users should be able to quickly join a party members’ game through the Quick Menu even if they are playing a different game. It would be useful to be able to see and join games through the Quick Menu.

100% behind this. I want to see the quick menu have the ability to run seperate apps, and have nearly full access to the OS if one desires.

This is already a feature AFAIK (unless I don’t understand the need). Games that support multiplayer have a “Join Game” button, otherwise they have a “Launch Game”. If you don’t own the game, you’ll be redirected to the PSStore to purchase it.

I just mean to have it available in the Quick Menu, instead of needing to go to the main Party Page. We are already able to click on each user’s name to mute them, and can see if we can join their game from the quick menu, but we are unable to actually join from the quick menu, and have to go to the full Party screen

Great job OS team. So glad this is coming with firmware 4.50. Please keep refining the quick menu. Like I said earlier, I would love to see light apps, and much more through the quick menu. It is extreamly helpful to be able to access everything from the quick menu so we can multitask between online events.
